Easy to grow and maintain, these marine rotifers make an excellent live food source for larval fish and invertebrates. The photo shows a simple rotifer culture maintained in 20L buckets. The airline keeps the water agitated and they are lit by 20watt 5000K energy saver lamps, and fed a variety of phytoplankton. I strain the rotifers from 20 L of culture to make the concentrated culture.
